Participants will not only learn more about the rehabilitation studies today, but also have the opportunity to speak with researchers and practitioners from across disciplines, institutions and nations. The course offers numerous occasions for discussion with fellow participants, and thus facilitates the sharing of ideas and formation of connections. This is a unique opportunity to collect the expertise of thought-leaders in the field within the same venue. Areas of neurorehabilitative research have become very specialized (e.g. motor recovery vs. sensory neuroprosthesis development). This is a unique opportunity to bring expertise together and cover epidemiology, assessments, and treatments all within the same course. We hope that the interactive environment of our course helps to foster future collaborative projects and to further the efforts of rehabilitation research.
